Homemade wheat-free musesli base

Oat flakes and barley flakes, brown rice flakes, millet flakes, amaranth flakes, quinoa flakes, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds (linseeds), dried fruit and nuts.

In any combination you wish.

Combine all ingredients, mix well and store in an airtight container.

Take two heaped tablespoons or more per person, soak in some water overnight.

Place the muesli in a bowl add the water to about ½ an inch above the muesli. In the morning the muesli should be soft but not swimming in water, if this is the case, add less water the next time. Then add natural ‘live’ yogurt and/or fresh fruit to the soft moist muesli.

It is very important to soak the grains before you eat your muesli. Soaking the grains overnight activates enzymes making the grains much easier to digest. The grains will also expand in your bowl instead of your stomach.
